A Message from Our Founder
As the founder of Creative Hands, I've had the privilege of working with countless individuals and communities affected by various causes. From providing relief to those affected by natural disasters, to supporting education initiatives, to protecting endangered wildlife, our organization has been dedicated to making a positive impact. In this message, I share my personal journey and the inspiration behind our work.
On May 1st, 2015, Nepal was struck by a devastating earthquake that caused widespread destruction and loss of life. The disaster left many communities in dire need of support, and Creative Hands, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through education, community development, and economic empowerment, was quick to respond.
As part of its relief efforts, Creative Hands provided 100 sacks of rice to a small village located in Kumpur VDC, Dhading district, Nepal. This small but meaningful contribution helped alleviate the immediate needs of the affected families and provided sustenance for those who were struggling to access basic necessities.
The village of Kumpur VDC was particularly hard hit by the earthquake, with many homes destroyed or severely damaged. The community was in dire need of food and other essential supplies. Creative Hands' donation of 100 sacks of rice was a welcome relief to the villagers, who were struggling to access basic necessities.
"We are grateful for the timely support from Creative Hands," said the Village Development Committee Chairperson. "The rice has been a huge help to our community, and we are thankful for their kindness and generosity."
Creative Hands' response to the earthquake disaster was made possible through the generosity of its donors and supporters. The organization's ability to quickly mobilize resources and provide support to affected communities is a testament to its commitment to empowering marginalized communities.
"We are proud to have been able to make a difference in the lives of those affected by the earthquake," said Dambar Bahadur Ghale (Dipen), Vice-President of Creative Hands. "We will continue to work tirelessly to support those in need and rebuild communities that have been devastated by this disaster."
Creative Hands is committed to continuing its relief efforts in Nepal and supporting the rebuilding process. If you would like to make a donation or learn more about our earthquake relief efforts, please contact us at info@creativehands.org.np .
